SR22 Aircraft Database

Gen Cruise Climb Equip WB 1 WB 2

The data on the Climb form is copied directly from the "Time, Fuel, and Distance to Climb" table (see table below).

Enter data for the widest range of altitudes possible. CoPilot uses this data to create a mathematical model of the aircraft climb performance, and this model is most accurate if the data covers a wide range of altitudes.

Altitude is the pressure altitude (column 1) for the rows you select from the table.

Rate is the rate of climb (column 4) for the rows you select from the table.

IAS is the climb speed (column 3) for the rows you select from the table.

Fuel Used is the fuel used to climb to the selected altitude (column 6). By changing the column header you can choose to enter either the fuel required to climb to the specified alitude (Fuel Used), or the fuel flow when climbing through the specified altitude (Fuel Flow). Since the SR22 manual specifies the fuel required to climb to the specified altitude, ensure that the column header is set to Fuel Used.
